Statement of Philosophy
It is our belief that providing and maintaining an environment conducive to learning and maturing is of primary importance. Toward this end, the teachers and administration work cooperatively and enlist the support of the parents and other members of the community.
We believe that the school must provide a variety of learning experiences: have a qualified, caring staff: encourage the use of varied teaching techniques: stress process learning and basic skills: provide a varied program of both curricular and extra-curricular offerings: provide appropriate facilities: and use community resources. We further believe that our programs must have the flexibility to help students adjust to a changing environment and the demands of the working world.
We are concerned not only with the intellectual, academic, creative, social and physical development of our students but also with their emotional and behavioral development as well.
Finally, we believe that each student should be helped to develop a sense of personal worth and a sense of purpose to life.
